The Peninsula Tokyo has long embraced the maxim, “hotel as home” and warmly invites old friends and first-time visitors to join in a more meaningful travel experience as Tokyo eases back into routine. Not only can guests enjoy the best of what The Peninsula Tokyo has to offer — a special room package, understated elegance and exceptional hospitality — but also experiences dealing with themes close to the hotel’s heart. Curated experiences touching on food, art, exploration, transportation, wellness, entertainment, and culture, as well as community are available.
Under the package “The Eight Loves of The Peninsula Tokyo,” the “Love of Food” sees guests preparing authentic dim sum at the hotel’s lauded Cantonese restaurant under the tutelage of its chef. The “Love of Transportation” experience, meanwhile, sees guests touring around Marunouchi in the hotel’s beautifully restored vintage Rolls-Royce Phantom II.
The hotel has long been recognized for its philanthropic efforts and now is no different. Guests can help support Tokyo’s needy with a one-for-one meal donation program operated with local charities Second Harvest Japan and Hands On Tokyo. An even more hands-on experience is the “Love of Community” campaign where guests can help prepare and package such meals ready for distribution.
