Weekend brunches get a makeover at The Tavern — Grill & Lounge at Andaz Tokyo, with the hotel applying the same level of care and standards to new precautionary measures for health and safety as it does to the exceptional quality of its food.
All starters are freshly prepared to order. An on-point salade nicoise —seared akami (lean) tuna, green beans, confit potato, quail eggs and white anchovy — is just one of up to five cold starters that diners can choose from, in addition to three hot starters, a main dish and dessert for ¥6,500 (plus tax, surcharges) per person.
Seafood is prevalent — Tasmanian salmon, juicy shrimp and grilled scallops — but eggs also shine. The hotel’s signature eggs Benedict is on the menu for good reason, to be followed by desserts, tea, coffee and petit fours. The tableside-carved roast beef remains a favorite.
Reserving online sees no time restrictions and children in elementary school and younger can enjoy a free lunch box.
Classic menu items from the restaurant and fellow Andaz establishment BeBu are also on offer as part of the hotel’s takeout service. Food is available for pickup and free delivery for offices located inside Toranomon Hills Mori Tower.
