Taking in the sakura (cherry blossoms) at night in a luxurious igloo, indulging in pastel pink delicacies or sipping on seasonally inspired cocktails — the Rooftop Bar at Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills brings sophistication to spring festivities, 250 meters above the city.
Running from March 28 to April 12, the Sakura Dinner at Sakura Garden (¥15,800 for adults with welcome glass of Champagne) sees nighttime cherry blossom-viewing reinvented, where guests can partake in fare such as cherry wood smoked duck breast and a spring adaptation of pot-au-feu — all while ensconced in the warmth of a private igloo.
The more casual Free Flow Sakura Plan (¥7,900) with two hours of free-flowing beverages includes a welcome glass of Perrier Jouet Grand Brut Champagne with savory snacks to match.
The Sakura Afternoon Tea offers an enticing selection of canapes and sakura blended teas (¥4,700), and can be booked with an igloo — available for groups of four (¥7,900 with a sakura mocktail and gift box of sakura macarons).
Innovative cocktails (¥2,000 each), available until April 30, include the Sakura Tea Sour, a bitter-edged creation made with Kinobi Gin and a sakura-infused cherry tea. Prices do not include taxes and surcharges.
