Grand Hyatt Tokyo is pleased to introduce exotic summer menus at The Oak Door steakhouse and The French Kitchen all-day dining restaurant. Both establishments have prepared for the summer season by providing exceptional offerings served in their spacious open-air seating areas from June 1 to Sept. 30.
The Oak Door steakhouse will open its floor-to-ceiling windows for its annual barbecue beer garden. Featured for the first time is Fiesta Mexicana — a Latin cuisine package with free-flow frozen cocktails and beer. The Latin food, with its blend of fragrant spices, makes a perfect match for the icy cold refreshments.
The beer garden is open from 6 to 10 p.m. with free-flow drink plans starting at ¥6,800. Menu items can be wrapped in tortillas for easy sharing among friends and family. Other items include carne asada nachos (grilled beef nachos), Latin-inspired sausages and smoked beef brisket.
Meanwhile, The French Kitchen will offer a French Moroccan-style Terrace Barbecue. For this uniquely crafted menu, the chefs have gathered an authentic blend of spices and condiments — such as preserved lemon, yogurt, chermoula relish, Ras el hanout and saffron — all of which are essential components of Moroccan cuisine.
The barbecue is served in two-hour time slots starting at 5:30 p.m. Prices start at ¥5,200 with an accompanying glass of sparkling wine. Other meal plans include Champagne, free-flow options and VIP Room plans. The menu features Australian striploin beef skewers, merguez lamb sausages and saffron couscous.
The French Kitchen will carry the celebrations into the night with “Soiree Blanche — French Moroccan Night.” This year, the popular annual event will incorporate modern belly dance performances and French-influenced deep house music. It will be hosted on a few select evenings from June to August with prices starting at ¥8,000. The dress code is all white, so now’s the time to break out those ivory robes.
