Western media like to blast China for what it says is censorship of news on the Internet and from other sources. However, the same "freedom-loving" Western media suppress news in much the same way, for example, with coverage of the 20th anniversary of the events in Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
The Page 3 story about students forgetting the legacy of Tiananmen was written by the same AFP reporter as the other story on the page. However, though both stories appeared on the wire that The Japan Times subscribes to, the story on the students was nearly impossible to find on the Internet with every major search engine. How sad that the only news site that carried the full story was that of ABS-CBN News of the Philippines.
There are many sides to every story, if you can find them.
