Spanish coroners had performed an autopsy to investigate the possibility of medical malpractice and said the data will be turned over to the investigating judge without revealing what kind of procedure Obasanjo, 59, underwent.

Molding Clinic, located in Puerto Banus, an upmarket district of Marbella in Spain's Costa del Sol resort area, issued a statement saying that the "fundamental causes" of Obasanjo's death have not been determined.
