Orange Revolution's bad apples?

Former Ukrainian presidential aide Oleksandr Zinchenko denounces Defense and Security Council head Petro Poroshenko on Sept. 5.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko's former chief of staff accused some of the country's top officials of corruption Sept. 5 and warned that if they are not fired immediately it could result in the reverse of last year's Orange Revolution.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, who had resigned Sept. 3, said that he stepped down so that he could speak bluntly about what he called the danger facing this ex-Soviet republic.

He accused Petro Poroshenko, the head of the Defense and Security Council, and two other leading figures of attempting to subdue all branches of government.

Poroshenko attended the live news conference and stood frowning as Zinchenko spoke before taking the floor to deny all the accusations.
