Curing passenger malaise
Courses on courtesy and cleanliness are being offered and pamphlets distributed to bus and taxi operators ahead of a courtesy campaign that gets under way in May and runs until the end of the year.
Following a wave of user complaints, government ministry officials will be carrying out random checks and distributing postcards for passengers to record vehicle registrations for complaints or evaluation.
What action would be taken against rude taxi or bus drivers has not been announced.
