Teachers help young kids on tests
At least six teachers at a public elementary school in Tokyo's Adachi Ward have said they were told by the school principal to alert pupils and students to mistakes while they were taking tests in April 2006.
An expert on education issues said such alleged practices "may have stemmed from the introduction of competition" in classrooms.
