Kyuma sorry for Aegis info leak

Defense Minister Fumio Kyuma KYODO PHOTO
Defense Minister Fumio Kyuma expressed regret on April 30 to U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates over information leakage regarding the Aegis defense system involving Japanese troops and promised Japan's efforts to prevent a recurrence, the minister said.

Kyuma also said he asked Gates that the Pentagon provide information about the state-of-the-art stealth fighter F-22A Raptor, given that Japan sees it as the leading candidate for replacement of the aging F-15, which is Japan's mainstay fighter.
