Power plants warned for coverups
Trade minister Akira Amari on March 30 warned the nation's power plants to improve their operations and safety following the recent discovery of a series of coverups at nuclear generators.
The revelations emerged after the government late last year ordered all power companies to search for data on coverups and other problems.
There have been 97 cases of coverups and other problems at 12 power stations reported to the government.
