A very crowded 45 sq. meters
Around 3,300 people have registered as their residence a shelter on a narrow, 45-sq.-meter plot of land in Osaka's Airin district where a large number of homeless people and day-laborers live, police sources said Dec. 7, suspecting most of the registrations are bogus and mob-linked.
This was discovered during a police investigation into a man who was arrested for allegedly purchasing a certificate of residence and a health insurance card to pose as the original holder of the documents, an unemployed homeless man living in Airin. His IDs were sold over the Internet without his knowledge.
