Sick Web site lands teacher in trouble
The families of six children who have died in traffic accidents submitted a criminal complaint to police Nov. 4 alleging that a teacher insulted them by uploading photos of the children on a Web site without their consent.
He copied the photos of the children from the families' Web sites.
The families also submitted a complaint claiming that the teacher, a man in his 30s who teaches at an elementary school in Hamura, Tokyo, allegedly violated the antipornography law by uploading obscene photos, including a photo of a girl's corpse, onto his site.
According to the complaints, the teacher ran a Web site called "Club Kids" from January 2003 through last month, where he posted photos of children who had died in traffic accidents along with upsetting comments and captions detailing how they were killed.
