Arsonist gets eight years
A former gangster was sentenced to eight years in prison Nov. 10 for attempting to set fire to the home of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe six years ago.
Tomoya Jizobara, 28, a former member of the Kudokai crime syndicate, was found guilty of hurling firebombs inside Abe's compound in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 2000.
