Amagasaki victim's lover kills herself A 32-year-old woman who lost her boyfriend in a fatal derailment involving a West Japan Railway Co. train in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, last year committed suicide Oct. 15 after leaving several memos that said, "I lost the sliver of life after the accident," police said. She is believed to have jumped from the 11th floor of a condominium building in which she lived. She was in a relationship with the man, then 33, for more than 10 years, and the couple were planning to get married.
