Mixi debuts on stock exchange Mixi Inc., the operator of the nation's most popular social network service site, debuted on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Mothers market for emerging companies Sept. 21. Its initial public offering price was ¥1.55 million per share. Based on the IPO price, Mixi's market capitalization stands at ¥109.2 billion, making it the seventh largest Mothers issue. Membership of the invitation-only Mixi site had grown to more than 5 million as of July. Members of the Mixi site are able to exchange their profiles and other information.
