Ground crew jogs Haneda runway
Tokyo's Haneda airport suspended flights for two hours early July 8 after an unidentified jogger was spotted crossing the runway.
The shutdown forced delays in 70 flights at one of the country's busiest airports.
The man was spotted by infrared sensor at around 4 a.m., and all incoming and outgoing flights were grounded while authorities tried to track down the person.
The man turned out to be a 22-year-old part-time employee of a company that cleans airplanes, and is under contract with All Nippon Airways. The man said he was not familiar with airport security and that he wanted to go for a jog by the sea.
