Suzuka Hatakeyama, accused for strangling 7-year-old Goken Yoneyama

Suzuka Hatakeyama was initially arrested June 4 for allegedly abandoning the body of Goken Yoneyama, who lived nearby and was found strangled on May 18 near the banks of the Yoneshiro River in Noshiro, about 8 km from his home.

Prosecutors indicted her earlier June 25 for abandoning the boy's body.

Hatakeyama admitted to strangling Goken at around 3:30 p.m. on May 17 after luring him into her house.
