Two held over Narita bid-rigging

Officers from the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office carry a raid on Narita Int'l Airport Corp. office Nov. 18.

Prosecutors Dec. 5 arrested two officials of the former state-owned operator of Narita airport over alleged bid-rigging in electrical installation projects.
The two were Etsushi Kyakuno, 55, a former electrical-division chief of the engineering department at the New Tokyo International Airport Authority and his predecessor, Sadao Ito, 57, who formerly worked as deputy head of the engineering department.
