The window of the car hit by an air gun bullet on the Hanwa Expressway in Wakayama Prefecture on Sept. 26.

Authorities suspected his involvement in the shootings after they found several air guns along with drugs inside his abandoned car.

In the shootings, two cars were hit -- one carrying a young couple and another a family of four -- but no one was hurt. Kamizono said he had become irritated by their driving.
