Q What can students study at your school?
Chiba University is a comprehensive national university offering courses in a variety of academic fields, from arts and social sciences, to life sciences and engineering. Students coming to Chiba University can focus on their own specialty while simultaneously obtaining through transdisciplinary courses the most desirable skill in today’s world: a global perspective.
Q Will you tell us about any support systems for foreign students?
Our dormitory, the International House, offers approximately 200 rooms. Our International Support Desk provides advice on immigration and resident formalities, housing and life in Japan in general.
Q Can you tell us what students do after graduation?
Many of our international students find employment at research or educational institutions, global manufacturing companies, or government offices.
Q Do you have a message for prospective students?
We provide several short-term programs of 1-2 weeks, as well as up to 12-month regular degrees to meet the demands of every international student. Please join us at Chiba University and experience high-quality education in an academically pleasant environment!
