Dai Nippon reports stolen info
Dai Nippon Printing Co. said March 12 that a total of around 8.64 million pieces of customer information related to 43 client companies, including Toyota Motor Corp. and Aeon Co., have been stolen by a former employee of a subcontractor.
There have been no reports of abuse of the information, which includes names, addresses, telephone numbers, and, in some cases, credit card numbers and other sensitive data, the major printing company said.
Dai Nippon said it will upgrade its information management system to prevent further information leakage.
