4 3 2 1

Josai University Educational Corp. will mark its 50th anniversary in 2015. It runs Josai University, Josai International University, and Josai Base College, with around 14,000 students enrolled. It has ties with 103 colleges and universities overseas in 20 countries and regions, exchanging educational and academic expertise.

"Character building through learning," the spirit advocated by the founder, Mikio Mizuta, a former finance minister of Japan, is the centerpiece of our educational philosophy. We are aiming at developing human resources with the talent required by communities, globally and locally, with a goal to be a "leading university of the world."

"7 J-Vision" outlined as a midterm goal

With the goal of developing human resources that could command leadership in various fields in the world, Josai is well aware of Japan's required role in the world, with global, academic vision and sense. In order to meet the goal, we have outlined the "7 J-Vision" plan, which is equivalent to a vow the educational corporation took to expand our academic system.

Vision 1

  • Development through a liberal arts education
  • Offering career education to meet basic demands of skills required of graduates
  • Developing human resources with high-level professional skills in academic and cutting-edge fields
  • Developing human resources useful to society and nurturing humanity through extracurricular programs such as sports and cultural activities
