IAEA raps South Korea over secret nuclear research

IAEAが韓国の核関連実験を非難

国際原子力機関（IAEA）は11日、韓国の一連の核関連実験に関する報告書を発表した。報告書は韓国が1980年前後にIAEAに無届けでプルトニウム抽出やウラン濃縮実験を実施したこと、00年の実験で得られた濃縮ウランの一部が兵器級に近いものであったことなどを明らかにしている。

South Korea reported laser enrichment of uranium "in 2000 by scientists at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute in Daejeon" that refined uranium to an average level of 10.2 percent and up to the highly enriched level of 77 percent, which is close to weapons grade, according to the report.
