LONDON — New Zealand flyhalf Dan Carter believes he will be fit and available to play England this weekend.
Carter hurt his right calf in training last Thursday and had to withdraw from the All Blacks side which beat Wales 33-10 in Cardiff on Saturday. But he thinks he'll be alright to play at Twickenham in their last tour match.
"The plan was to get through training and it was pretty light today, I didn't go over 50 percent. I got through it well," Carter said on Tuesday.
"We're looking after it well and doing everything right to be ready for this weekend. I'm pretty confident I'll be right to play, I just need some positive thinking.
"It's the last game of the year and I want to be part of it."
