The Shimane Susanoo Magic, who will join the bj-league from the 2010-11 season, are likely to hire former men's national team head coach Zeljko Pavlicevic of Croatia, basketball sources said Sunday.

Pavlicevic, 59, has experience coaching several European club teams and won the European Cup twice. He coached Japan in 2003-2006 and currently teaches at a university in Croatia.

According to a team source, negotiations on his contract are in the final stage.
