Broncos, Warren agree to dealThe Japan Times
The Saitama Broncos have agreed to terms with standout power forward Reggie Warren, the bj-league announced Thursday. The muscular, hard-nosed veteran played the previous two seasons for the Takamatsu Five Arrows. The 206-cm Warren, a two-time bj-league All-Star, is known for his rebounding skills and high-powered dunks. He has also played professionally in Venezuela, Canada, Israel and Turkey. Warren increased his scoring output from 516 points in 2006-07 to 905 last season, a sign of his growing stardom in the bj-league. The Broncos have not re-signed power forward Gordon James, who led the bj-league in rebounds in each of the past two seasons. The Broncos also agreed to terms with 210-cm center Antoine Broxsie, 28, who has played in Cyprus, Mexico and for the Utah Snowbears of the ABA. |
