Chang to take over as Omiya boss

SAITAMA (Kyodo) Omiya Ardija has hired South Korean Chang Woe Ryong to replace Yasuhiro Higuchi as manager for next season, the J. League first-division club said Wednesday.

The 49-year-old Chang has experience managing in the J. League after spells with Verdy Kawasaki (now Tokyo Verdy) and Consadole Sapporo. He was in charge at South Korean K-League club Incheon United this season.
