Johnsen expected to leave Nagoya

NAGOYA (Kyodo) Norwegian striker Frode Johnsen is expected to leave Nagoya Grampus at the end of the current season, sources at the J. League first-division club said Thursday.

Nagoya has no intension of offering a contract extension to Johnsen, whose current deal will run through the end of January. The 34-year-old has scored 34 goals in league matches since joining Nagoya in 2006, including 11 goals this season.
