Japan defenders Marcus Tulio Tanaka and Yuji Nakazawa have been named to the all-star squad of J. League players to meet their counterparts from South Korea's K-League in next month's JOMO Cup, the J. League said Monday.
Goalkeeper Seigo Narazaki, defender Yuichi Komano and midfielders Kengo Nakamura and Koji Yamase are among other Japan internationals selected for the Aug. 2 match at National Stadium.
Kashima Antlers manager Oswaldo Oliveira will take charge of the J. League team, which also includes South Korea international Kim Nam Il of Vissel Kobe, Nagoya Grampus' Norwegian striker Frode Johnsen and Brazilian forward Bare of Gamba Osaka.
