SAITAMA (Kyodo) Former Japan striker Masayuki Okano has rejoined Urawa Reds from J. League rival Vissel Kobe, Urawa officials said Friday.

The 31-year-old, famous for scoring the dramatic "golden goal" that helped Japan reach its first-ever World Cup finals, made his debut for Urawa in 1994 and made 211 league appearances for the Saitama club before moving to Kobe in Sept. 2001.
