Norwich, England — Norwich earned its first home win in the Premier League this season, taking advantage of slack defending to beat Sunderland 2-1 on Monday.
Leon Barnett put the hosts ahead in the 31st minute after winger Elliott Bennett had skipped into the right side of the penalty area and delivered a low cross for the defender to slot into the net from close range.
Wales forward Steve Morison powered in a header at the start of the second half after the visitors were again caught napping at the back, before substitute Kieran Richardson drilled in a late consolation.
