Aston Villa's O'Neill mulls options

BIRMINGHAM, England (AP) Martin O'Neill will reconsider his position as Aston Villa manager at the end of the season.

Villa has improved steadily in O'Neill's four years in charge but British media reported that he was thinking of quitting over a disagreement with owner Randy Lerner.

O'Neill said Thursday there had been no falling-out between the pair but that he "will assess everything at the end of the season."

Villa is seventh in the Premier League but lost 7-1 at Chelsea last weekend.
