AMSTERDAM (AP) Japan midfielder Keisuke Honda is likely to move to CSKA Moscow from VVV Venlo, soccer sources said Thursday.
Voetbal International, a Dutch soccer magazine, reported on its Web site that Honda has received an official offer from CSKA and appears to have made up his mind to play for the Russian club.
CSKA have advanced to the knockout round of the European Champions League.
"The next match may be my last game as a VVV Venlo player. I believe I will make some kind of decision soon," said Honda on his blog, suggesting that he may make a move after Friday's match against Heracles Almelo.
The 23-year-old has scored six goals in 17 league outings this season.
