YOKOHAMA — Nissan Motor Co. on Wednesday released the new Serena S-Hybrid minivan, offering better fuel economy while maintaining a roomy interior.
The hybrid version of the popular model, Japan's top-selling minivan in the first half of the year, boasts fuel economy of 15.2 km per liter — up from the current version's 14.2 km — due to its compact hybrid system, according to Nissan.
The Serena S-Hybrid's will start retailing at ¥2.16 million, and is eligible for an eco-friendly tax break.
