Culinary exchanges a la Ducasse, Pan Pacific packages and wine party at Roti
Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo, a French restaurant joint venture with Chanel, is to hold the second edition of its popular "Les Rendez-vous culinaires japonais" culinary exchange event.
Based on the idea of "cultural exchange via food," three famous Japanese chefs have been invited to collaborate with Jero^me Lacressonniere of Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo.
The Japanese chefs and Lacressonniere will share their knowledge and culinary skills and will work together to create new tastes for special lunch and dinner courses, using Japanese seasonal ingredients and French-style cooking.
Invited chefs include Hisato Nakahigashi from Miyamasou and Hiroshi Sasaki from Gion Sasaki — both restaurants in Kyoto — and Shinichiro Takagi from Zeniya in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture.
The first session, with Nakahigashi, is from June 10 to 14. The second, with Sasaki, and third, with Takagi, will be held from Aug. 16 to 20 and from Nov. 11 to 15, respectively.
Lunch is ¥17,000 and dinner is ¥35,000, excluding drinks and service charges.
Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo is in the Chanel Ginza Building, a three-minute walk from Ginza 1-chome Station. For more information or reservations, call (03) 5159-5500 or e-mail email@example.com
