Baroque 'n' roll

Collegiate ensemble the University of Southern California Thornton Chamber Choir performs at Suntory Hall in Tokyo on May 19. Under the leadership of Director William Dehning, the USC Chamber Choir has won seven prizes in international competitions. The USC Chamber Choir's repertoire spans a wide range of musical styles from the Baroque era to the present day. For their performance in Tokyo, the ensemble's program will include works by Monteverdi, Brahms and Schonberg.

The nearest station to Suntory Hall is Roppongi-itchome (Exit 3) on the Namboku Line. Tickets are 1,000 yen in advance from Ticket Pia.
