Berlin's best contemporary theater

The Schaubuhne am Leniner Platz from Berlin, Germany directed by Thomas Ostermeier is premiering two works in Japan -- "Nora" based on the Ibsen's 1879 work "A Doll's House" and Marius von Mayenburg's 1999 work, "Fireface," about the inner turmoils of an adolescent boy. Both are challenging works that strenuously strive to seek out the meaning of drama in contemporary society, "Nora" and " Fireface" run June 17-21 at the Setagaya Public Theatre (SEPT).

SEPT is a 2-minute walk from Sangenjaya Station on the Denen Toshi or Setagaya lines. For more details call, SEPT at (03) 5432-1526 or visit www.setagaya-ac.or.jp/sept/
