Eastern music medley

Three groups will sing and play the music of Korea, Mongolia, Turkey and the Balkan Peninsula from 7:30 p.m. on June 24 near Numabe Station of the Tokyu Tamagawa Line.

Lee Changseop and three others will play samulnori, Korean percussion music, with four percussion instruments.

Tokuhisa William Kotaro, a voice performer, and his group will play music of Turkey and the Balkan Peninsula.

Ayako Saegusa will sing urtynduu, Mongolian long free-rhythm songs, accompanied by a horse-head fiddle played by Kazuko Yokota.

The venue is Izuruba, a five-minute walk from Numabe Station (For the map, visit www.mothership.info/map/izuruba/izuruba.html) The ticket is 2,000 yen.
