Multicultural Isreali art

Works by Israeli contemporary artists including video installations and photographs will be on display simultaneously at two sites -- in Yokohama and Tokyo, from June 10 to early July.

The exhibition will feature four young artists -- Nira Pereg, Miri Segal, Daniel Bauer and Yaron Leshem. "Next Wave of Israeli Contemporary Art -- Living in a Multicultural Society" will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Yokohama Portside Gallery (5-1 YCS1F Sakae-cho, Kanagawa-ku. Tel. [045] 461-3033) from June 10 to July 7 (closed Sundays).

An exhibition under the same title will also be held at Tokyo Wonder Site (2-4-16 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, tel. [03] 5689-5331) 11 a.m.-7 p.m. from June 10 to July 3 (closed Mondays).

Admission is 200 yen for adults, 100 yen for senior high- and middle-school students and senior citizens (65 years or older) and free for younger children.
