A walkabout in Kamakura
A walking tour of Kamakura will be held on April 23, which will take the participants to the Kamakura Museum of Literature, the house of the late author Yasunari Kawabata, the Big Buddha and the Gokuraku-ji Temple.
Other destinations include the house of the late author Nobuko Yoshiya, the Amanawa Shrine and the Gongoro Shrine.
The tour starts from the west exit of JR Kamakura Station at 10:30 a.m., rain or shine. (In case of emergency, call 090-3470-2634).
The participation fee is 4,000 yen. Additional money is required for lunch, entry to the museum and other destinations. There will be an optional party, costing 6,000 yen per person, from 5 p.m.
