Characters past and future

Character Expo 2005, which is being held through April 3 in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture, features over 100 much-loved toy figures.

The event is organized under the themes of past, present and future. The future section features characters drawn or invented by up-and-coming artists specially for this event.

Character Expo 2005 (Kyara Haku) is open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays) through April 3 at Tokyo Bay LaLaport Center Court (2-1-1 Hama-cho, Funabashi). A seven-minute walk from JR Minami Funabashi Station.
