Song-and-dance spectacular

Five pairs of readers of The Japan Times will be given free tickets for a "musical pop comedy" to be presented in Tokyo in late January.

"Duke -- Joy to the World" is a musical extravaganza involving plenty of improvisation and lots of laughs. The Japa nese-language production by the Ketoishi theatrical troupe tells the story of police detective Muraoka and his pursuit of Duke, an infamous thief.

Please send a postcard to: The Japan Times-kakari, Ketoishi, 5-37-18-101 Matsubara, Setagaya-ku 156-0043. The deadline is Jan. 13.

The sender should write their name and address and the date and time of the performance they wish to attend.

The schedule is: Jan. 27 and 28, 7:30 p.m./Jan.; 29, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Jan. 30, 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The venue is Shimokita Kukan Liberty, Isamiya Bldg. 4F, 2-11-3 Kitazawa, Setagaya-ku. (Tel. 03-3413-8420).
