Festive lightshow in Yokohama

A light installation by artist/musician Tatsuya Ishii is on display at Yokohama Akarenga Soko (Redbrick Warehouse) every evening through Dec. 31.

Titled "Ground Angel," the installation features images of angels projected onto the stone paving around the historic building and three accompanying tunes especially composed by Ishii for the occasion. The performance lasts 15 minutes and begins on the hour and at 20 and 40 minutes past the hour from 5 p.m.-10 p.m.

On Dec. 31, the installation will be on show until midnight and will feature an appearance by the artist himself.

Yokohama Akarenga Soko is a 10-minute walk from Minato Mirai station on the Minato Mirai subway line.
