Christmas concerts in Hakone

Christmas concerts of English hand bells and the cello will be held Dec. 24-25 at the Pola Art Museum in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Miyuu Nonaga (hand bells) and Miho Sakai (cello) will play a medley of Christmas songs and Christian hymns.

Admission to the concerts is free, but those wishing to attend must buy a museum entry ticket (1,800 yen for adults, 1,300 yen for university and senior high-school students).

The concerts will be held Dec. 24 from 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. and Dec. 25 from noon and 2 p.m. in the cafe in the museum basement. Each concert lasts 30 min. To get to the Pola Art Museum, take the Hakone Tozan Tetsudo train to Gora from Hakone Yumoto (35 min.), then take the Shisetsu Meguri bus to Pola Bijutsukan (13 min.).
