A workshop will be held in Tokyo on Dec. 11 to examine the changing linguistic landscape in Japan focusing on the language on public signs.
There will be a discussion in English on multilingual shop signs in and around Tokyo. Other topics (in Japanese) include the use of braille in the city, the administrative background to Tokyo's linguistic landscape and signs in areas with high concentrations of Koreans.
