The Osaka European Film Festival will be held from Nov. 20-24 at Kaiyukan Hall in Tempozan Harbour Village.
The majority of films are screen premieres for Japan.
The films likely to be of widest appeal are the three English-language ones to be shown on Nov. 21: two Scottish films, "Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself" by Lone Scherfig and "16 Years of Alcohol" based on Richard Jobson's novel, and the Italian-Hungarian-Brazilian coproduction "My Father."
