Turkish novelist on East and West

Orhan Pamuk, an internationally acclaimed Turkish novelist, will speak in English with Japanese translation under the title of "East and West: Between the Past and the Present" from 6 p.m. on Nov. 22 in Tokyo.

The venue is the International Convention Hall of the Japan Foundation (Ark Mori Building 20F) near Tameike Sanno Station on the Ginza subway line. "Watashi no Na wa Aka," the Japanese translation of his novel "Benim Adim Kirimizi (My Name Is Red)," will be published soon.
