Teddy bears made by Japanese and foreign artists will converge on Ebisu March 13-14 for the Japan Teddy Bear Festival in Tokyo 2004, a forum for viewing, collecting and showing off the toy animals.
Teddy bears will be shown and sold in 28 booths for foreign artists, 100 booths for Japanese artists and 20 booths for importers and other firms at Ebisu Garden Hall in Ebisu Garden Place.
Events scheduled include a prize draw, a charity lottery for rare teddy bears, an exhibition of the best-dressed teddy bears, and a demonstration of how to make teddy bear patterns by British artist Jo Greeno.
Japan Teddy Bear Festival in Tokyo 2004: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 13 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on March 14 at Ebisu Garden Hall, Ebisu Garden Place. Advance tickets are 400 yen from Ticket PIA and Lawson Ticket. Same-day tickets 500 yen. Admission free for primary school students or younger.
