Living treasure performs nihon buyo
Ten pairs of Japan Times readers will be given a chance to enjoy nihon buyo, or traditional kabuki dance, performed by Nishikawa Senzo -- one of Japan's living national treasures -- and other dancers, including Nishikawa Minosuke.
The performances will be given at 10 a.m. and at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 at Kabuki-za Theater in Tokyo.
Anyone interested in obtaining free tickets should fax (03) 3355-2230 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org on or before Oct. 20.
In the message, the sender must write "Oct. 26, The Japan Times" and specify the performance preferred (morning or afternoon), in addition to giving a name, address, and telephone and fax numbers.
